			It’s one thing to lost the heart of a family, it’s another when a mother tells her children they must leave to survive. The question become how to survive in a world that both threatens and tempts. For succubi, that describes themselves as well.

			The work is an adventure mixed with a bit of a coming of age story that revolves around the three main characters, all succubi, and where their choices take them. It’s quite dark overall, the characters are not exactly evil, but use their abilities to gain as much as they can regardless of all else.

			The three succubi sisters of the story, Yera, Xia, Dyea and their mother, are very much succubi, their powers come into play, seductiion, temptation, mind control and so many others, but there’s a kind of emotionless aspect to them. For each in each part of the world they travel to, and what each does to survive, is really very telling about each of them.

			The work could have used a few more editing passes to make the dialogue better, the narrative cleaner as well. More so, to focus the story more and delve deeper into the succubi would have addd a lot.

			Three out of five pitchforks.

			The work ends in an interesting place which also leaves a lot of questions unanswered. Perhaps that’s the problem overall as so many threads begin and then the story gets sidetracked leaving them lost and forgotten. With that said, it is interesting and unique, all of the succubi sisters are very much so. It’s just a shame that they didn’t really get to be developed as much as they could have been.
