			Is it a dream, or is Peter really in the afterlife. That question becomes a bit less important as an angel and a succubus entangle themselves in his afterlife and what follows could be the destruction of heaven and hall or their salvation.

			The work is a fantasy adventure with a fairly strong feeling of an anime story which sets the tone of the work. It’s not erotica so much as it is a story of belonging, seeking the truth, and discovering who you can trust and that they ca trust you.

			There is an interesting mythos built as part of this, and it is something to think about as the story is told. At the same time, it is an odd story, the dialogue feels odd, the story itself seem to be lost more than the character are at times.

			Maeve, the succubus of the work, is amusingly frustrating, tempered, and overall is less a devil on the main character’s shoulder than she is trying to be a side of his conscious which keeps reminding him of how bad things could be. While she is a succubus, there is actually very little of her nature in the story, save for the obvious physical ones and, occasionally, her more demonic nature. It would have been n nice to explore her more than she was however as parts of her character are left shaded and not touched on.

			Two and a half out of five pitchforks.

			The work closes in an odd way that is reflective of the entire story. It is odd, very anime-like and overall felt very lost often. The work really needed another editing pass for the grammar, the narrative and most of all the dialogue. The story idea is interesting, but at the end it feels like the author didn’t quite get the story on the page in a way that held the story together well and that is the shame.
