Bo proclaims that The Morrigan is the leader of the Dark Fae and that she should act like it. Instead, The Morrigan offers Bo a deal, Bo must obtain an item from The Ash's vaults and bring it to The Morrigan. If Bo does so, she will release Vex into Bo's custody. Bo is also told that she cannot show what the item is to anyone and to bring it only to The Morrigan in her private chambers. Bo tells her that she can't, and begins to walk away, but The Morrigan calls after Bo telling her that: "You can take some fake moral high ground and watch The Garuda slay everyone you care about." Bo stares at her for a long moment and then takes the information about the item, commenting that: "Why do I feel like I haven't read the fine print?" Kenzi tells Dyson: "It's about time. We thought we lost you." Dyson turns away and Kenzi tells him that he did something crazy, but it was not the reason why Ciara died, it was The Garuda's fault. Dyson is ashamed of himself, saying that it was his fault that everyone was almost killed. Kenzi is unfazed and Dyson asks for his love to be returned, but the Norn refuses to do so. Dyson calls it a selfless request to "help the champion battle the coming darkness." The Norn is unimpressed and replies that her "sacred tree has weathered many a storm" and she is not concerned about ''The Garuda'' in the slightest. Kenzi interrupts and asks if they have something more valuable to trade, would she do so. Kenzi then shows ''The Norn'' the bracelet that Dyson placed upon Caira's coffin earlier in the episode. Dyson is incensed that Kenzi would steal the bracelet as Dyson knows that Ciara would want it to be buried with her. Kenzi tells Dyson that what Ciara would want is a chance for victory. ''The Norn'' examines the bracelet, commenting that it is made of "genuine iridium" and that the one that wore it had a "gifted essence." However, ''The Norn'' rejects it as the bracelet is not as powerful without the wearer and it is not as powerful as a wolf's love before throwing it back to Kenzi with a laugh of derision. Kenzi turns to Dyson and tells him that it is only her first offer, but Dyson explains that there are rules and they are finished here. 	A wake is held for Ciara at the Dal Riata, Bo and her friends trying to cope with what's happened, Dyson devastated and on the verge of giving up. Bo confronts Trick with the knowledge she believes that he is her father, however Trick tells Bo that he isn't her father, but rather her grandfather and that Aoife was his daughter. He also tells her he doesn't know who Bo's father is. Trick explains that Bo's blood has the power to enslave others, like her mother did, and that using that power may turn her to the dark side. Bo asks that Trick call the Nain Rouge to get some answers, but he cannot. Bo cries out in anger and the Nain Rouge appears. The Nain Rouge tells Bo that Dyson misunderstood what the Wolf Spirit told him and the way to defeat the Garuda is to join the Light and Dark Fae into a single force. Bo and Lauren attend the funeral of Lachlan, and find The Morrigan there. Bo asks for Vex's help, but is told that Vex will remain in the dungeons forever because he took control of The Morrigan's body and humiliated her. Bo is told in order to have what she wants, she has to steal an item from The Ash for her. Kenzi confronts Dyson and makes him understand that he cannot give up for everyone's sake, and Bo's in particular. Dyson sees The Norn with Kenzi at his side, demanding his love to be returned, but is rejected. Kenzi takes things into her own hands and attacks The Norn's sacred tree and begins to cut it down, which forces The Norn to agree to Kenzi's demands. One of the gifts The Norn collected apparently falls on Kenzi's hand by accident, which might have given her a Fae power, as the Norn says "And with that, a gift has been given." Kenzi then brings Dyson's love, which he consumes. Bo locates the item and brings it to The Morrigan, when Vex is brought to her, he explains he humiliated The Morrigan to be safe from a group of Red Caps, who then attack Bo and take Vex away with them. Bo confronts the Red Caps, and they demand the item that Bo stole for The Morrigan to release Vex. Bo finds The Morrigan and uses her powers to control her long enough to steal the item back. Bo gives the item to the Red Caps, but The Morrigan stops the transaction and moves to kill everyone there. Vex helps Bo to overcome her, and Vex agrees to help Bo in the coming battle. Bo gathers her friends and tells them she has a plan, and asks her friends to stand with her and they all agree to do so.
