			A reflection of an encounter, a question af belief, and an opportunity to explore what mythos might really be.

			The work is a long form essay on an encounter with a succubus, the complexities that come from it, and an attempt to rationalize the events experienced in some manner. Somewhat a convoluted exploration, the author references a number of myths, legends and online sources to try and make sense of events.

			There is a passing reference to succubi in the work, but overall this is more a consideration of what the author perceives rather than an exploration of succubi beyond a passing interest before carrying onto the next aspect of myth and legend to be examined.

			One pitchfork out of five.

			Overall the work is so very scattered and unsure of what it seems to want to do. As for being a story about succubi, it’s really not that focused on that aspect overall as well. There are points at which it is, but there’s just so very little that I found to be interesting to me at least in the work in that respect.
