			One never knows who might have a confession to give, and sometimes the one hearing the confession has one of their own. Temptation is a current that ebbs and flow, teases and taunts. If one gives in, then what temptation is left to find is the question.

			The work is a short erotic hot flash telling the story of a succubus entangling herself with a priest, the slowly building fall towards corruption and the sexual encounters that bring events into focus. It’s something of a tease for the most part, the story dances with erotic heat on and off before the climax and the transformative close of the story.

			Elisha, the succubus of the story, is sort of on the edge of being stereotypically evil, but the author managed to make her more mischievous than dark, less damnation than seductive promise fulfilled. While she is very much a succubus, temptation given form and lust in a sensual appearance, there is a shade in her character that wasn’t explored. That really couldn’t be, but with that said, her tone of voice, the temptations, the fall she draws the main character into, all offer there is something more to her that should have perhaps been explored more.

			Three out of five pitchforks.

			The work seemed like it was pointing towards another work to follow, but that never happened. It would have been interesting to see things from Elisha’s perspective if that had happened. Her motivations are a bit shaded, perhaps there is a larger plan that could have been explored and that would have been interesting.

Father Michael is hearing confessions before Mass when a woman walks in to give her confession. What follows is an extremely overt and highly detail account of her adventurous sex life with every detail for Michael to fantasize about. She behaves increasingly inappropriate during Mass and in future meetings. When she shows up one day at his office for a special appointment, things escalate even further. And again when his secretary walks in.

Slowly this woman takes Father Michael down a darker path than he wanted to go on, especially when this woman begins corrupting other members of his congregation.
