			Alina has a wish, a secret that she could never express save to someone that would give as much as she can. A wish comes with a summoning, a demon lover called Naberius, and the placing of herself in his hands to do with as they both desire.

			The work is a short erotic hot flash with a very strong dominance and submission theme. As the story unfolds, there’s a bit of an air of mystery that traps the characters, the expression of Alina’s true wish and it is then when the story turns towards the realization of making that become true and the doors that open for both characters.

			It’s very much a slow-burn story, there is no rushing towards the climax, it’s not over the top in how things are told in the narrative either. There are a few points where some of a passionate connection between the characters would have added a lot, but that’s mostly to add more heat than adding descriptions of what happens.

			Naberius, who can be described as an incubus, is very much a dominating character and he leads Alina through an exploration of her own sexuality, to discover herself, to accept his control, and what follows. He’s not evil as such, though there is an edge of darkness in him that becomes tempered slightly as the story unfolds in a fascinating way.

			Three and a half out of five pitchforks.

			The story closes in a romantic way that works well for the two characters and offers a hint of their future. It’s perhaps a little sad on the edges, the means aren’t quite what I’d hoped they might have been. A following story would be nice to tie things up better and perhaps give better closure than what was revealed.
