			Tiris has the answer to find Oriel, but the path is strewn with danger. She cannot stop, her need to find Oriel is all. But the larger question she does not have the answer to haunts her, what happens when Oriel stands before her and what does she want.

			The work is a hot flash which continues to tell the story of Tiris, who is a wonderfully complex character with needs, wants and desires. Again it is a shame that the story is so short as the events hint at an amazingly complex story universe which really needed to be explored further. The sci-fi aspects are really well done, the adventure and danger is gripping and a delight to see unfold.

			Thee work is very much a character development story for Tiris as she battles her way to her goal and it’s not a simple thing by any means. Every m omen is a test, every thought matters. The risk and danger leads towards a climax in story and with herself as well, but even so, when she finds Oriel, the test is but beginning.

			The story brings her to a society of succubi and that in itself is something that captured me. Not just the aspects of the world itself, but the multitude of succubi that appear. They are quite telling in their beliefs and desires and through that comes an encounter between Tiris and Lilith that held me utterly. It was some of the best succubi sci-fi and fantasy narrative I have read and it caps off the series perfectly.

			It’s amusing at times, passionate always, and the desires drawn into the fore when revealed between Tiris and Oriel at the climax following the appearance of Lilith felt right and mattered.

			Four and a half out of five pitchforks.

			This work brings the series to a close, and it is in a way that isn’t rushed or feels out of place. There is purpose, meaning, and depth to what unfolded and every page was a delight. There are some dancing threads at the end, more of what comes next than anything else. It’s a shame that one more work never appeared to tell of what happened next, but honestly as things are, this was a memorable series that I enjoyed from beginning to the wonderful conclusion.
