			The book summary is a bit short and a bit deceptive. Perhaps something better would be: Nymia is summoned by a group of fools to d their bidding, to kill a princess is nothing for a succubus after all. But the question she should be asking is, who is the greater fool?

			The work is a succubus focused tale of adventure and mystery with a little bit of an erotic aspect that dances with some BDSM and lesbian themes. Some of the erotica has decent heat in bit, but overall the story feels rushed, there’s little time for getting into the depths of what is happening before the next scene appears and the mystery entangles deeper still.

			While the dialogue works well, the work could have used another editing pass for the narrative, mainly in cleaning up some odd moments that felt scattered and a bit lost in how things were described. Similarly, there’s points where adding more texture to the setting, to the characters themselves would have added quote a lot to th work and made it a better read.

			Nymia, the succubus of the work, is very much a stereotypically evil succubus with domination and sex on her mind. As such, there’s really no surprise when her seductive nature is mainly used to turn others to her purposes to bring her goal closer still. Where things become a bit disappointing is at the climax of the story, when the one who set everything into motion is revealed. It’s at that point when Nymia is seen to be more of a paper tiger in the presence of someone who was three steps ahead of her by far.

			Three out of five pitchforks.

			It’s a shame that Nymia wasn’t more fleshed out than she was. She is a succubus, that’s not in question, it’s more as to her past, delving into her character more and seeing what her end goals would have been, or could have been. The work ends in a place that offers a path towards a follow on story, to tell of what a revenge focused succubus like Nymia would do. It’s a shame that never happened.
