			Delilah makes the worst choice a soul can make, and on the edge of eternity calls out for help. She hoped for God to come to her rescue, but instead she drew the attention of Lucifer and his appetites. There is a price to be paid, and in doing so Delilah may discover the truth she has denied for so long.

			The work is a rather complicated mix of dark erotica with aspects of self-discovery for the main character, along with a rather unique mythos being created. There is a very strong domination theme throughout along with a fair bit of sexual fetishes mainly focused on control.

			The erotica is so very dark, delving into themes of pain at many points, which didn’t really appeal to me. I don’t particularly enjoy suffering and pain, regardless of how apt and fitting it well may be for the story and the characters. It isn’t a love story, not that I expected it to be so, and in the context of the main character it works to deepen the story.

			Lucifer can be thought of as an incubus, he’s very much sexually driven and has a purpose in mind for Delilah. However, he’s mainly in the work to dominate the other characters and press upon Delilah to submit to him. There is also a minor character who is a succubus, but they are never named. That said, they are somewhat stereotypically evil and most of their part of the work comes in their being a futa, or in the sexual torture which they force Delilah into.

			The idea of the story is interesting, the overall plot is something very unique as well. But the darkness of the tone, how many of the characters are just unlikeable made it a difficult read. Especially so with the pain and torture aspects which just didn’t work for me at all.

			Two out of five pitchforks.

			I just couldn’t find my way into the story for various reasons, mostly in the characters that weren’t interesting and the erotica which just didn’t appeal to me as a whole. It’s certainly a different story for this author, but overall it didn’t appeal to me.
