			The path is long towards the destination ahead, the encounters along the way offer both questions and answers. The succubi have their secrets and more, the question is if the truth will br all that Elorion’s soul cn withstand.

			The work is a rather complex LitRPG story which takers the series main character into the midst of the succubi, and Lilith herself. There’s some very good world and character creation to be found, the story has some interesting moments as well. But with that said, the constant references to stats and side commentary about such things takes a lot away from what otherwise was interesting.

			The succubi, and Lilith herself, are delightfully captivating, I thought their world, the society, how things fit together, was well done. Lilith is very much a temptress with a plan and her personality was just right for her. Similarly, the other succubi that appear have their place and story to tell. It is a bit of a shame that too often they are referred to as the succubus rather than their nature however. It takes away from their purpose and character and that bothered me throughout.

			Two and a half out of five pitchforks.

			LitRPG still bothers me, and in this work the stats just kept getting in the way of red story. The work also needs another editing pass for the odd dialogue and occasional awkwardness in narrative. The succubi are interesting, I did like what mythos was created and I really would have liked to have more of a focus on that. But this is a series about the main character, and so that wasn’t going to happen.
