A sudden bout of fever dreams leave Mara Berman disoriented and uneasy. Each dream feels more intense than the last and all feature the same haunting figure--a man engulfed in brilliant blue fire, whose eyes are as deep and dark as a black hole and always watching.<br />

The longer the dreams continue, the more Mara suffers. Heat flashes dizzy and flush her. Sweat beads along her skin no matter the temperature, and an insatiable hunger she can't comprehend begins to take hold. Her body has become a weapon, burning up from the inside out, and Mara feels helpless to stop her own destruction.<br />
