Battle Skills and Attacks

• Leaps and spins around, twirling her scythe numerous times.
• Rushes at the player 3 times, and finish with a slash, this attack will track the player.
• Rushes forwards to slash upward with her scythe.
• Fires a bolt at a ranged distance. She will spam this move if player is far from her.
• Casts a spell which causes slow motion except on herself. She then runs in a circle while placing numerous bolts. After finishing the spell, her slow motion will wear off and all of the bolts will launch towards the center of the circle.
• Casts a charm on the player, forcing them to collapse. She then mounts her prey and caresses their body, dealing damage while placing Drained Energy on her opponent.
• Snap her fingers and disappears, then reappears behind the player. She can use any other attack as soon as she reappears.

Tips and Advice

In Hero Mode, the seductive charm attack lets the Succubus finish her attack and attack again before you are able to react. If she uses the charm attack again, she can continuously loop it so that you can never stand up. Try to stay out of charm distance when the Succubus is about to attack, so that she uses her scythe attacks instead.

Kai

• Continuously strafe and shoot, keeping distance from the Succubus. Use Ricochet Shot after the Succubus finishes an attack. Use Eagle Eye Assault after she uses the charm attack and misses, or after flinching her with other attacks.

Evie

• Place a Mana Pistol to draw the Succubus' aggro and to slow her down.
• As Staff, hopping once backwards or to the side can dodge a scythe charge. Don't rely on using focus spells as the Succubus moves quickly. If she focuses on the Mana Pistol, then you will have time to use Blind Arrow or Ice Spear.

Vella

• Backlash can be devastating against the Succubus. The single and multiple missile attacks can be backlashed.

Additional Notes

• A Succubus is a demon who seduces male humans into their lust, only to have their soul absorbed.
• According to Shayla in A Naughty Woman, she was once a beautiful mortal who men wanted to seduce or be seduced by her. Eventually fed up, she became Fomorian by drinking a potion mixed with Bloody Shade and killed human males in revenge.
• Trivia: Interestingly enough, the Succubus resembles Evie.

Quest Tips and Tricks

• At the very beginning, before first door, there will be a 4x4 square area on the wall, to the left of the door you go through. That shows the pass code to get you through the barred trapped room without extra monsters spawning. Once you push the correct squares (in any order), they will change color, and then the bars will raise.
• Near the end of the map is a swinging log trap. Hitting the chain hangers on the wall with a Spear will disable the trap. Alternatively, by waiting long enough the fire traps will burn the log, allowing safer passage to the Succubus.

Quest Notes

• This battle is not given by Shayla. It is an allowable fight once level 50 has been reached. Officially, the quest relating to it is A Naughty Woman (See Below). This is given by Shayla, and unlocks after completing Chapter 8 part 1 (Inkells fight, The Central Garden)
• This battle must be fought solo and no assist can be made.
