Plot Summary

In a world where demons live in hiding among humans, Adie Pond is well on her way to blending in and hopefully becoming a successful business woman. She’s found a balance with her sexy, demon of destruction roommates, has her bakery space picked out, and is days away from opening. All she needs now is staff to help her run it and nothing more to go wrong in her life.

When cousin Julian shows up with an offer too good to be true, is it because he’s trying to help her? Or does it have something to do with why her evil cousin, Cassandra, is still lurking around town? Adie is determined to open her bakery on schedule, but if she takes the offer, will she find her shop filled with diligent workers or a handful of misfits? Either way, she can’t refuse the bargain.

Adie thinks she has just enough time to whip her new employees into shape, until a summer storm rolls over the city. It puts a kink in her plans when Kellen is suddenly charged with an excess of energy and Adie has to drop everything for him. With mishaps striking left and right, can she help Kellen, reach her goal of opening the bakery, and figure out what’s going on with her cousins before it all come crashing down?

Join Adie on her (mis)adventures toward achieving a quasi-normal life among humans.
