Plot Summary

The journal Abi was given at the bookstore follows the investigation of a victorian scholar, Abigail Bennington, a woman in the possession of a magical artifact. An artifact that is somehow attached to a spirit or demon from another realm. Could it be the presence Abi felt when she was with Olivia?

The magical energy begins to fade but Abi doesn’t want to let go. She wants more. And the more she reads about Abigail’s journey and the magic she encounters, the more she wants to become a powerful witch. But how? And what is going on with Olivia? And what is happening between her and her father?
