A wolf shifter finds himself trapped by a succubus, but is it that much of a trap?
The author published a prior work with a similar theme and it feels like this work is supposed to follow on from the first. But that’s not exactly clear overall. As such, this is a very short hot flash that doesn’t develop the characters much beyond telling what they are and not giving much of a voice to who they are. But then that’s really the point of this work, being that this very much is a roleplay scene, a fantasy to be built upon.
The succubus, who isn’t given a name, really doesn’t display much in the way of being a succubus other than wanting her partner in every way possible. There’s less seduction than it is a move directly into the sex scene as well. Again, that’s the point here, but even so, there’s a lot that could be done to build this into a story, make it something more and I really wish it was.
Two pitchforks out of five.
It’s a start, not a lot more and that’s a shame. There’s something here that could be used towards making a larger story and that’s the point really. It’s just so very little in the way of a succubus story idea as a whole. Three pages isn’t enough as a whole I’m quite sad to say.
