Vivian might be a succubus, but that doesn’t mean she’s all powerful. Being faced with the harsh lesson that what she wants might not be reality, is a lot to consider. It’s the struggle within herself, the denial and then rationalization she tries to console herself with, that takes the story from her anger into a place of reflection that Vivian really hasn’t experienced fully before. I enjoyed the first half of the story far more than the latter part, mainly because it developed Vivian’s character, gave purpose to the other characters around her as well. The world building that came from this confrontation filled in a lot of the missing pieces too. The erotica, when it appears, mixes several fetishes, a bit of a futa theme, and a very strong tale of domination. Some part of that were a bit over the top much like the prior work in the series. It’s that turn at the end, the expression of love between Vivian and Elvira that finally connects things, gets past the disbelief of others, and moves the story towards finding a place for the main characters to be. It does leave an interesting question to explore further and what it means will be seething to watch unfold. It still leaves an open question about Vivian and the mask which hasn’t been explained however and I hope the next work tells that story. | |||

Plot Summary
Vivian is taught a lesson in humility when she is discovered in the secret encampment having her way with Elvira. The succubus fought, but Irena and the headmistress overpower her and she finds herself a prisoner. Irena is enraged with Vivian and tells her that she is a fool and may have caused irreparable damage to their coven. She is to wait for the mage to decide her fate. When the mage arrives and studies Vivian, she is pleasantly surprised. There is more to Vivian than any of them had known. The mage realizes that the joining of Vivian and Elvira has produced a special kind of magic that could help the coven. She asks Vivian to make more and invites the other trainees to participate in the sharing of lust and passion. Vivian soon finds that she can channel everyone’s arousal and the night becomes a marathon of lovemaking that ends up producing more fiery magic than the mage could have ever thought possible. In the end, she realizes that the succubus could be the answer to the coven.
