The first of the succubi, Sera is a bit evil around the edges of her character. It’s not a romance by any means, but that’s not to say there isn’t moments where hope teases around the edges and the characters themselves. Plot Summary
44-year-old Evan Fosster was just looking for a cheap room for the night, but what he finds at The Mirage Motel will change his life forever. Within the walls of this rundown motel, three sultry succubi are imprisoned by arcane forces and dark desires. Evan is stunned to discover that their fates and powers are tied to his very existence. With their unique gifts, each succubus will take Evan to unimaginable heights of carnal pleasure as he brings them into his service.
But even as Evan sinks into the sensual delirium of his succubus lovers, a shadowy figure is weaving a plot that could cast Evan into the abyss. Will Evan survive and claim his succubus harem, or will he be lost to eternal darkness?

Not everything is as it seems for Evan, not since he found himself in the presence of three wayward succubi. Are the stories they tell real or just a means to an end. Is anything real around him for the depths of darkness which tug at him and demand of him. Cast adrift from what he knew, the truth about himself and the succubi before him, may change everything.
The work is a very deeply convoluted work with a plot that shifts focus and direction with each moment. The characters are shaded both in their true nature and what each needs and desires. There are moments of passion, loss, terror and confusion which all build onto the main character and push them through the story to the next confrontation or revelation.
The first of the succubi, Sera is a bit evil around the edges of her character. More of a warning that her delights come with a cost and in doing so that sets up scenes where Evan is taken to pleasure but also the depths of despair and tragedy. As for Sera, she’s somewhat bland about her feelings, but that works because she is a demon seeking a deal. That feels like it is all that matters to her and when she has that, she becomes a more fleshed out character and a lot more interesting than she was at first.
There are flashes of erotica along the way, the heat is there, but it feels like there’s a barrier between the heat and the events which unfold. The erotica is more of a means to an end, a bit of embellishment added to the work as a whole. The focus is clearly on telling the story of the characters, to build the framework of the series and see where that takes things.
Beyond Sera and Evan, there is a lot of groundwork set out for the other succubi to be cast into, for events to pull Evan deeper into this universe and away from his reality. At times that barrier becomes very thin, the story plays with perception and in doing so there’s a slowly building wave of darkness which seems to be taking over.
