In being so, there’s something of a gap in the storytelling, mainly how scattered the main character’s thoughts are and now achingly needful he is for the incubus to return to him. | |||
As in the first work, the incubus of the series, Malachi, doesn’t make himself known until Max has been through other encounters, finding no relief, and being made to serve at Malachi’s feet. Given that so much of the story is focused on building up to the erotic scenes, there’s a lot of storytelling that was lost along the way and that’s a shame really. A bit more editing, a little more time spent in dealing with they why of things and not just the erotica would have I think made this much more interesting. | |||

The work is a very short piece of male/male erotica and, much like the first work, leaves story for the heat of the erotica. It’s far more focused on domination and submission than the first however.
