Sometimes you never know who is listening and for Iris, the discovery that Angel is doing so is a surprise. It’s more so when she reveals herself to be a succubus and then things become that much more interesting by far.
The work is something between a coming of age story, a sexual awakening, and a light succubus erotica story mixed into things. It’s very quirky, the main characters are interesting and a bit odd at the same time, but they do feel right being together in the story.
The erotica runs a bit hot and cold, there is, as happens in many of this author’s works, a little futa erotica as well. But that’s really not our of place or feels wrong considering the main character herself.
Angel, the succubus of the work, is anything but evil, really she’s a loving soul with a bit of a sexual edge to her. Some of her succubus powers, mind control, physical transformation, mind reading, and so on appear, but they aren’t used in an off-putting way. She’s unique and interesting and I did like her quite a lot.
Three out of five pitchforks.
Like many of this author’s succubi, Angel is such an interesting character and she offers a lot within the story to allow the other characters to grow and see themselves for who they are. A delightful story, though there are some pieces of information that Angel reveals that would have been interesting to explore in the story as well.
