The work focuses on a running battle between two forces in a fantasy world setting in which one of the groups are commanded by a succubus known as the Mistress. The succubus of the work, known as Mistress, is more of a war demon overall than being focused on her succubus nature. It’s very clear that she is a schemer, plotter and is adept at battle. As a fantasy adventure it’s quite interesting, as a story with a focus on the main character being as succubus, it’s a bit less so. There are gaps in the story which would have been nice to see filled somehow. How the work closes leaves a path to a follow on work, and that I hope would be able to spend less time in battles and more in telling the story of a succubus Mistress and how she came to be. | |||
