The succubus of the story, who is never named, and is male, might be better described as an incubus really. They are called a succubus by the main character, but there’s an uncertainty about that. With that said, the succubus character has a sexual air about them, they are very much a demon of sex, and we’ll have to see if that really goes anywhere overt, as at the moment, it’s far more covert in what they are doing to the main character.

This is very much a mind control transformation story than it is a succubus story, at least at this point in the series. It could turn out to be, though the succubus character is better described as an incubus by far. Hopefully there will be a turn towards something more succubus themed in the next part of the series.

Plot Summary

Amanda Fell is the Protector of the Gateway between our world and the Demon Realm. But even the Protector’s gotta eat, so for a living, she works security at a local strip club - which happens to be frequented by demons. After she kills a succubus on the job, she starts having erotic dreams about being a stripper at the club. Her creepy (human) boss offers her the chance to jump on stage, and for the first time, she’s tempted.

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on June 23, 2019

Amanda has a problem, actually a lot of them, and having to deal with demons at the strip club she works at is a big one. But there are eyes watching her with their own ideas and she might not have a choice in what she wants to do.

The work is a short erotic hot flash with a bit of a supernatural edge to the story along with a bit of a mind control fetish angle as well. The heat in the erotic scenes adds to the story, but it’s the fetish subplots that carry the story for the most part. The slow and gradual fall of Amanda to the demons that surround her, and how that is shaded in a way to make it seem something other than it is was done well I think.

Three out of five pitchforks.

This is very much a mind control transformation story than it is a succubus story, at least at this point in the series. It could turn out to be, though the succubus character is better described as an incubus by far. Hopefully there will be a turn towards something more succubus themed in the next part of the series.
