Where the story closes allows I think for a lot more exploration of the characters themselves and what really is behind it all. I would love to see a follow on story, something beyond the transformation aspects alone. Perhaps a possession as well or a more strongly domination story. There’s a lot to build on and I hope it would be.

Plot Summary

One of Lucas's coworkers told him about a website that's selling headbands that use technology so advanced they are practically magic. As someone who works in software development, Lucas is curious to see if this is the real deal. The truth is shocking, but not as shocking as just how into Lucas's transformation his boyfriend is.

Book Review

Technology is an amazing thing, perhaps too amazing if what Lucas as been told is correct. But it turns out that there’s something more going on and finding himself with horns and tail is quite a surprise. But the surprises aren’t over quite yet.

The work is a very short hot flash piece of erotica focused on an incubus transformation which then follows into a lovely and really well written male/male erotic passage. The characters are a lot of fun, their relationship works really well and there’s just a sense of something more here that really appealed to me.

While Lucas’ transformation is very quick, that’s less important than he and Adrian exploring the changes which Lucas has gone through. The details of his new form, the textures and details bring out the heat as they are explored. While Lucas seemingly has become an incubus physically, tail and all, it’s hard to say if he really is or if something else is going on.

As an incubus, his transformation just fascinated me and it makes me wonder about what exactly is happening. It reads like magic, there are aspects of it, and that allows for some twists and turns to take the characters into. That’s where the shame comes here, the story is so dearly short that there’s really not a lot more than the transformation and the entanglement which follows. The concept of the story is very intriguing and leaves a lot to be explored.

Three and a half out of five pitchforks.

Where the story closes allows I think for a lot more exploration of the characters themselves and what really is behind it all. I would love to see a follow on story, something beyond the transformation aspects alone. Perhaps a possession as well or a more strongly domination story. There’s a lot to build on and I hope it would be.
