Love and lust are not the same thing. One can lust, but love is a need and want that can only be found with care. Perhaps this time, the care will be in two souls finding each other.

Overall the writing is very well done, though at least one more editing pause is needed for some points at which the story felt like an online RP chat which was odd. The incubus of the work, who is never named, is something of a mystery within himself. He is an incubus, more or less, but the story really doesn’t need that for what it focuses on overall. Tugging on his threads and seeing who he is, what his desires are, and how he changes is really far more important.

Three out of five pitchforks.

The work comes to a close with understanding and acceptance for both characters and that felt right. If there was one thing that bothered me about the story it is the main character was never given a name. It’s a shame really as that would ahve meant a lot to tie things together better.

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on December 13, 2020

Love and lust are not the same thing. One can lust, but love is a need and want that can only be found with care. Perhaps this time, the care will be in two souls finding each other.

The work is an erotic hot flash with a mainly male/male focus to the erotica. There are some scattered scenes prior to the main characters enchanting each other, but they are rather fleeting and seemed more tacked onto the story.

Overall the writing is very well done, though at least one more editing pause is needed for some points at which the story felt like an online RP chat which was odd. Setting that aside, the story takes both main characters and teases its way through their personalities and needs towards an understanding and, importantly, peace within themselves.
