Being that her original summoner is gone and Mia is now connected to her, it’s possible that anything could happen. It’s disappointing that aspect wasn’t explored in a more succubus centred way because that would have been far more interesting to me.

Two out of five pitchforks.

It’s a shame that Lysandra wasn’t explored as a character other than in passing. More so that with the transformation aspects there wasn’t a succubus transformation or Lysandra possessing Mia. As a futa transformation and erotic story, I think it is interesting, but there’s such an opportunity for the succubus theme to be stronger and I wish that it had been.

However, as they settle in to their new home, an old place riddled with rumors of once housing practitioners of witchcraft, Mia notices that flame of desire in her marriage dwindling. Now, at a loss for how to rekindle their old spark, Mia wanders their new home to discover the answer to her dilemma hidden within the walls. A peculiar magic endows her with a special gift between her legs, something that may be exactly what she was looking for to help recapture Tegan's desires.

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on January 21, 2025

Mia and Tegan love each other, but there’s a flaw in their relationship which Tegan feels nibbling at her. She’d love for Mia to be more dominant in their relationship, but her nature will never let that happen. But when Mia discovers something in the attic hidden for yeats, more than their relationship will be transformed at the hands of a succubus.

The work is an erotic hot flash centred on futa transformation, a bit of mind control, and a reversal of a D/s relationship that comes from the transformation in the story. There is a bit of a succubus theme to the events, but it’s rather fleeting and the succubus is more of a wish fulfillment device for the transformations that follow.

The heat between the main characters is lovely, their passion for each other and personalities are really well done. Once the succubus of the story, Lysandra, makes herself known, what follows is a futa transformation followed by a physical and mental shift for Mia which makes her the complete opposite from who she was at the beginning of the story. In that respect the erotica works well and while a bit over the top, it still works with the main characters.

Lysandra, the succubus of the work, is never seen, only heard by Mia throughout the story. Just from her voice, the personality in her teasing and temptations, I think she’s very unique and she leaves me wondering about her. She’s not evil, more a creature of mischief than anything else and that works well for her.

But she’s not really involved in the story as much as I needed her to be. She makes things happen to, and for, Mia, her powers changing who Mia is, her physical form, and, in time pushing her to become that which Tegan wanted her to be. But she could gave been a genie for all the difference it would have made. Still, it’s that question of what else she could do.
