Plot Summary
After his father's death, Tykhon leaves the little cottage in the Russian forest to find all women want to sleep with him and all men hate him. Meanwhile, he dreams of a witch that tells him he will know only pain and misery as long as he lives, that what seems like a blessing is really a curse in disguise.
