As she finds solace with one of her own kind Martin, the Hierarchy of Hell wants her dead; her friend's demon lover has been abducted; and a former lover returns wanting her. The second Succubus in the City tale is a lighthearted urban fantasy starring a terrific female who holds the story line together. There is plenty of action and suspense yet the prime cast members are fully developed especially the heroine (ironic as she turns creeps into ash), the PI, and the demons (wonder if they are considered illegal aliens?). Nina Harper makes believers of her audience that demons in particular one sexy succubus are trying to make it in Manhattan. | |||
