This template is used to provide links to movie articles on the review website Rotten Tomatoes.

  1. Go to RottenTomatoes.com and enter the full movie title in the Search field, then press Search.
    • On the results page, click the movie you're interested in.
    • If you do not get a result corresponding to your movie, there may not be a Rotten Tomatoes review for your movie.
  2. The movie's review page should have a URL (shown in your browser's Address bar) like this:
    http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/<ID>/
    where <ID> is Rotten Tomatoes' ID for this movie. For instance:
    http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/1021517-time_travelers/
    is the review page for The Time Travelers (1964). NOTE: Most movies' IDs will simply be their complete title in all-lowercase, without punctuation, and with underscores replacing spaces. For instance:
    http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/2001_a_space_odyssey/
    is the review page for 2001: A Space Odyssey.
  3. Add the following text to the "External links" section of your movie article:
    * {{rotten-tomatoes|id=<ID>|title=<TITLE>}}
    replacing <ID> with the ID you found, and <TITLE> with the title as you wish it to appear. (The title will automatically be italicized.) For example:
    * {{rotten-tomatoes|id=incredibles|title=The Incredibles}}
    will result in the following appearing in the "External links" section:
