Synopsis

A Treatise wherein is shown that there are in existence on earth rational creatures besides man, endowed like him with a body and a soul, that are born and die like him, redeemed by our Lord Jesus-Christ, and capable of receiving salvation or damnation. Discovered in 1872 by Isidore Liseux on Euston Road, London, this bizarre manuscript purports to be the work of a 17th century theologian, one Father Sinistrari of Ameno, inquiring into the sin of demoniality; that is, sexual intercourse with demons. Known by their sexually-aggressive nocturnal visitations, the incubi and succubi have been widely cited in connection with the so-called "Old Hag Syndrome," and are viewed by some scholars as a historical precursor to modern alien abductions.
