Plot Summary

Everyone knows that succubi are worse than vampires, ghouls, incubi, or even werewolves, because a succubus' pleasure-addled victims don't realize they're in danger until it's too late. Cullinane, said to be incorruptible among his fellow Wards of the Wall, is ready for the worst when he's assigned to track down a rogue succubus. But Blaed, the young MMA fighter Cullinane hunts, is anything but the sensuous monster Cull expects. He's unsubtle, uncultured, angry... and desperate for Cullinane's help. He's willing to offer anything to get it, too — including what Cullinane has never allowed himself to crave. And oh, is Cullinane tempted. Has he at last met a succubus with integrity? Or is this a seduction that can corrupt the incorruptible?
