Plot Summary

Plain Jane during the day, but a succulent succubus at night? Suddenly the phrase love you to death takes on a whole new meaning. On a field trip to investigate increased paranormal activity in a remote area of Outback Australia, the last thing Alice expects is to be possessed by a demon. Not just any demon -- a succubus bent on sucking the life out of Jonathan, the man who has been the object of her sexual fantasies for the last six months. Can Alice defeat the demon… Or does she really want to?

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on February 16, 2008

First of all I need to say that the first chapter of this story held my attention from the beginning to the end. It's hot and it's well written as is the rest of the story. The characters within it face some very telling moments. At several points in the story the outcome is not clear. I have to admit that for me it was less of a story about a Succubi and more a story about a possession.

Putting that aside, the scenes are descriptive and hold your attention very well. Some moments towards the end of the story are somewhat jarring and unexpected. Especially when help arrives on the scene. The ending is somewhat wry and teasing both to the characters in the story and we as the readers.

As a romance slash stroke story it's very good and I will probably read other novellas by this author. As a Succubi story, if you are expecting a hot sexy Succubi with horns and a tail, you are not going to get that here.
