This review is from: Of Demons and Blue Moons: With Interior Illustrations (Kindle Edition)
First, on a technical matter, this ebook has illustrations. They are line drawings and they, and the captions, take up a whole kindle page. Accordingly, they are easily viewed, they look good, and perhaps a little exceptionally for an ebook with illustrations, this success arises because the illustrations are properly formatted. Well done! The ebook is different in other ways. They say you should start with a hook. Well, Farman starts with some dictionary definitions, in which he defines the various terms he will use. When you reach Succubus you will get some idea what the book is about. This is erotic, but not pornographic, and is definitely not for the prudish.
The story basically starts when an ex-marine, Scott Bennett, now a taxi-driver, sees a demon apparently raping a young woman. He sees a dagger on the road, so he kills the demon with it. Yes, no good deed should go unpunished. The young "woman" is Fae, half fairy, half succubus. Around this time, Scott's wife is about to leave him, and to make sure he stays left, she leaves a video of that night, where she is continuously having sex with two men. On top of that, Fae tells him the demon he killed is one of a group of seven, and the other six will want revenge. His only chance is to accompany her to the supernatural world, and kill the demons before they kill him. Unfortunately, Fae's mother is a full succubus, and she wants her daughter to join her, so Fae is also hunted. Exactly what the difference between a half succubus and a full one is not clear, because at the slightest chance, Fae is off fornicating, and since most of the time all she wears is a belly chain, a scarf and a hat, chances come frequently, all of which give the demons hunting her an obvious chance, so it ends up with Scott having to spend much time saving her, so he needs to be equipped. Unfortunately, he never seems to have enough cigarettes for a tobacco-addicted dog. The story is basically a swords and demons fantasy romp, with Scott introducing modern weapons. It moves quickly, and the fight scenes are detailed and not generic. Good fun, and apparently more to come.
Love this gem of a book!

I love this gem of a book! It is fast-paced and very interesting. I might be biased because I usually prefer to read this genre. I love the sexy, seductive and kick-ass Fae but I love the gentle but strong Mr Bennet more.
Fae has the most interesting jeweled hipbelt/sword which fits her personality and style. Very useful, too!
My favorite soul from her jeweled hip belt is her exotic ninja sidekick. I hope she’ll still be on the next installment.
And Fae’s mom, Lilith. Where do I even start? She is a very fascinating character – the perfect villainess – very beautiful and extremely evil. I really do not want to post spoilers and I cannot wait for the sequel

Andy Farman is a delight! I don't normally read this genre, and only read this book because I enjoyed andy's other work. I was very pleasantly surprised - and warmly recommend it.
Expect surprises!

An adult tour de force into a new genre for the author. Fast paced and wide ranging. A battle between good (for a given value of good) and evil.
Orgasm powered time travelling demon with a cute arse and a SBS marine fight against the gathering forces arrayed against them.
Well worth the time and money.
Can't wait to see where he takes them next.
Demons, Sex, Werewolves, Sex, Lesbians, Sex, BDSM, Dragons and a whole bunch of magic and fighting.
I got this on kindle, its about 430 pages with 20 great illustrations (all the links for the art are on the 'Discussions page') and great characters. The bios and teasers are on 'Discussions too.
Fae I love, she is posh, smart, a great fighter, great sense of humor and very very sexy.
Her mother was a faerie princess who the devil kidnapped but she escapes by seducing Cerberus, but because she has demon semen in her and doesn't kill him, she turns into Lilith after giving birth to the story's heroine, Fae.
Fae should be mixed up, but apart from being bullied by her cousins when she was a kid, having lots of action with strangers in alleyways, having an opium habit, gaining the knowledge of every male and female she goes with, for tens of thousands of years, and having a kinky birthmark of her papa's paw mark on her butt, she is pretty well adjusted.
The story starts with her interfering with Hitlers plans in the 1930's so a demon is sent to rape and kill her. She is saved by a wounded war hero, who she thanks by having sex with him and wiping his memory afterwards.
Next comes another demon in the form a a huge hound 'very blatantly male' and she lets it see her naked, asking if it wants to 'fuck her or fight her' and lets it see she is excited by the idea, so she isn't a timid little thing, but she's tricking it and she is ready to stab it as soon as it is in range.
But, the hound is her father, come to warn her that some real bad demons, ones she can't recognise as demons, are either going to take the form of the beautiful girls and handsome guys she takes down alleyways for sex, so they get her pregnant and turned into a succubus like her mama, Lilith, or cut off her head of and cast some spell to make her a succubus that way.
Cerberus gives her a magic sword, enhanced by the ghosts of warriors, in order to survive. One of the ghosts is called Clover and she seems to be based on the girl who is the model for lots of the illustrations, a Russian girl called Katya Clover whose is pretty hot.
Fae has to kill the demons and her mama, Lilith, who hates her because the devil is in lust with Fae too. Once the demons are dead the world will be safe etc etc.
Fae has lots of fights, some when she is riding on a dragons back wearing gold armor which is indestructible in the supernatural world. She has lots of sex too, guys, elves, werewolves, lesbians, a ghost (Clover, of course) demons, a dwarf with two cocks and even a hermaphrodite get to mess up the bed linen but she has a whole hell of a lot of battles at various points in the book, and very descriptively written.
Looking forward to the next in the series.--Vanessa Ives Fan (talk) 20:32, 20 August 2015
Read and Enjoy it's really a fun read.
By James P. Hanebury on July 28, 2015: Format: Kindle Edition Simply put buy this book, READ AND ENJOY! In a departure from Mr. Farman's usual field of Alternate Military History (Armageddon Series) he offers up a sword and fantasy book par excellence. You get a Heroine of epic proportions, part demon, part cute little girl and a deadly fighter who is also ready with a wise crack. A hero straight out the Edger Rice Burroughs mode . There is a many headed dog, you will recognize, who smokes like a broken stove. There a beautiful maidens, Norse Viking types and a Cohort of female warriors. There is drinking, fighting, fornication, witch craft and other fun things. It is a rollicking tale which held my attention until 2:00 AM this morning and left me eagerly awaiting the sequel not to mention anything else written by Mr. Farman.. Review: by James P Hanebury
A gem - fabulous!

Firstly I have to confess that I helped to proof read the book.....so I am more than a little biased.
However, I really enjoyed it, it was funny and entertaining and I am really looking forward to the sequel.
And just so there is no confusion, as I know sometimes there can be here - I bought both the Kindle and Paperback copies because I wanted a hard copy for my book case, and I did pay full price for them....

I do not generally read this style of book. I have read a few by very famous/popular writers and have enjoyed them
I saw this one mentioned on a social media site and thought I'd give it a go.
Well, honestly, get on with the second one, I can't wait. This was a 'don't put me down' book. It gripped where it should and relaxed you at other times.
The plot was great with lots of twists, most that I couldn't work out.
The characters were good and solid, they developed well and held your interest. I ended up rooting for a few of them.
A thoroughly enjoyable read and I have just downloaded his complete works, some people het you like that!
