Plot Summary
Lying awake in bed for yet another night of endless solitude, a lonesome man attempts to quell his thoughts by resorting to any means necessary in order to capture his ever-illusive sleep. He knows that just a small amount of companionship will help him to achieve his goal and in frustration, he audibly says so.
Just as his clock reads midnight, she—the Midnight Witch—materializes from the invisible and offers him a deal. She can transfigure into any person he wants. She can fulfill his every wish and desire. She can help satisfy him and fill the void he feels. In return, he need only follow three rules.
Will he keep his end of the bargain? What will happen if he doesn't?
