Plot Summary
All three adventures of Rise of the Incubus in one collection:
- Rise of the Incubus: Part One: Giles Palmer is having a rough time getting his store going. He has the skill to make the scrolls and enchanted wands, and knows what the local farmers need from a spell-weaver. But when an aggressive agent of the government comes to confiscate his wares, for the support the army, Giles learns fast that setting his shop up in Ostrom is going to be hard. And to add more trouble on his plate, his neighbor summoned demons next door! The bratty, cute little witch got her hand on a ritual to open a gate to the demon realm, releasing wriggling worms from hell that have an agenda of their own. When one of the worms gets loose, Giles will have to pick up his wand to slay it before it causes any trouble. Until this little act of heroism makes him the target for the witch's plans!
- Rise of the Incubus: Part Two: Giles Palmer just got back from a grueling night with his crazy neighbor. After trying to wipe out a potential demon menace in the sleepy town, he ended up nearly corrupted and enslaved by the woman that summoned the demons. Yet it was the demon within that saved him and allowed him to turn the tide against the unknown witch, leaving him unsure of the demon now residing within him. What makes matters worse is that Seer Fliwyn comes back with higher demands. Giles needs to complete a difficult task for the mage as soon as possible, yet the demon has other plans for him. It will coax Giles to let loose and look for the ladies somehow, someway. Even if Giles will need to charm a ball-busting ranger that would rather stick an arrow (or two) in him!
- Rise of the Incubus: Part Three: Giles Palmer has to face the crimes he committed days ago. A random run to the market to get a quick lunch lead him back to the woman he met mere seconds before infected by demonic larvae. His only recollection of the night with Veronica Webb was her half-torn clothes and warm body snuggled up against him. Even though she claimed it was a wild night, the entire scenario has filled Giles with a lot of regrets. Which gets even worse when Giles finds Veronica's step-family. The good news is they are strong, healthy, and working farmers. Stuart is ready to inherit the Bekker farm, while Benedict has made a quick recovery from death's door. The bad news is they have similar demonic mutations like Giles, and are just as horny as he is!
