Plot Summary
This series is about four succubi who are in Hell’s version of the Witness Relocation Program. They helped bring down a powerful demon back during the 1300s who was killing off the human population using the black plague. Now the demon has escaped and he’s mad as hell and looking for revenge not only on the succubus, but the world.

Cassie Ryan knows how to write sexy characters! Seducing the Succubus is the 1st in her 4 (?!) book series called the Sisters of Darkness. I was blown away by her facile story telling and ecstatic that there will be more!! This is a fast-paced and sensual read that was exciting from start to finish.
In this story Jezebeth is a succubus that feeds off the sexual energy of others. Hundreds of years ago she and her sisters were asked by Queen Lilith to petition Lucifer to imprison a powerful and dangerous demon. But their time is up. The demon has escaped and wants revenge! Suddenly on the run Jezebeth is soon attacked and then rescued by a courageous and handsome human named Noah. Noah owes Lilith a debt and was sent to protect Jezebeth. They both journey to try to find a portal to Lilith and sanctuary. Before the demon and his minions can kill Jezebeth!
The first thing I found so entertaining about this book was how is jumps right into the action. Jezebeth find herself in trouble and it was thrilling when Noah runs to her rescue. (Although the fiery Jezebeth does a little saving, too!) The back story behind the characters and the world filled with demons, genies, and angels was fascinating and highly involving but never seemed confusing. I loved that Jezebeth has the cool ability to change her appearance into whatever her prey most desired. Jezebeth's street smarts, sense of loyalty and heroism make for great reading. Although she must use humans to survive she isn't indiscriminate or a vindictive person. She has a good heart that made her more human. This made her relationship with the Noah more believable. I was surprised how much I liked Noah. Since he was `merely human' I thought his lack of powers might make him the `lesser' character between them and their relationship unbalanced. But his courage and sexiness made them a likeable and engaging couple. Plus I could really feel he cared for her. He was a strong character and didn't feel the need to dominate her or feel intimidated by her powers.
Those familiar with the author's writing will expect some HOT scenes and while this story does deliver I found that it do not have a many as her previous books. However, when the main characters are together they have a blazing chemistry.
This amazing series is one that will not disappoint! I can't wait to get my hands on the next installment if only to learn more about Lilith and her tormented love!!
