Plot Summary
Deep in the northern forests of ancient Scandinavia, a young huldra—a succubus-like being—encounters a human man for the first time. The chance meeting triggers a hunger and a physical transformation that she does not at first understand. Realizing that she is in the midst of her First Hunt, a rite of passage among her people, the young huldra embraces her true nature. What she does not know is that her premature first hunt will change the course of her life in ways she never could have expected.
