Plot Summary

Amber Koch is a woman whose used to getting what she wants. The only exception to that rule is having children, something she desperately wants but in the end understands she will never have. So, she settles for worldly pleasures instead, living a hedonistic lifestyle of constant sex, booze and food to fill the void in her heart, using whoever she has to in order to indulge in her vices.

Amber had her husband, David, killed so that she and her new lover, Antonio, can live the good life on David's life insurance policy. Instead she inherits a strange stone with an odd phrase engraved upon it. Her husband, a once famed archeologist, explains in a note that the stone was recovered from a dig site deep in the Carpathian mountains, believed to be a fertility rune for women who have trouble concieving. Desperate and not knowing any better, Amber reads the phrase aloud, unknowingly summoning a demon known as Astaroth.
