Plot Summary

I’m a succubus with an eating disorder that has nothing to do with food. Every three days, I’m have to feed from a different lover. What I really want is what everyone else can have—LOVE—but it’s impossible to stay monogamous. I know, I’ve tried, and almost died of starvation.

Now, I’m ravenous. So ravenous that I’ll probably kill the next mortal I come in contact with, but a mortal isn’t what finds me.

Zur-Sin is the oldest, most powerful vampire in Lake City, and he’s exactly what a hungry succubus needs. He give me two choices, stay with him or return to my family. I can’t face them or the consequences of my trying to be in relationship with a human. Not yet. Maybe never. Off to Zur-Sin’s nest I must go. I hope I survive. I hope he realizes that he alone can’t feed me.
