Plot Summary

Kayla Varlick disavowed love. She didn't believe in love at first sight. She loved sex, and she couldn't conceive of the idea of being with a man forever. Especially after reading the forbidden book her family warily guarded. It was a book she read and through which she discovered that incubus have a weak point: the betrayal of their soulmates. For the incubus who was betrayed by his partner would die slowly of agony. Unwilling to die for a man she did not know and hoped she would never meet, Kayla vowed to reject the union that every succubus entered into when she met her eternal lover. In theory, it was simple.

Until she was tormented by a mysterious man that only she could see, and who ended up kidnapping her and taking her to what, according to him, would be her new home: Hell.
