Plot Summary

A dream of a witch future whispers to Joanie. Making her mark in the business world clashes with her desire to honor her sex-work past. Gus strives to put his white-supremacist past behind him. Leaving hate isn’t easy. When he joins Antifa, Odin’s Hunt vows revenge. In ancient Akkad, Ekur fights the climate as drought stalks north. His civilization’s at stake. Linking them all, the genderfluid incubus-succubus Puabi-Ekur sees different versions of the times ahead. For their friends to survive, they’re forced to take a stand. All four must conquer fear and summon divine help to battle their more-than-mortal enemies. But the djinni always have a trick up their sleeve.
