Plot Summary

College freshman Amber wakes up in someone else’s room after a wild night of partying. With little memory of the night before—including how she wound up in that room or who she might have been with—she slips out and heads back to her dorm to get ready for the day, which includes taking an exam she’s barely studied for. During the test, however, Amber is overcome by a strange, overpowering arousal. Does it have something to do with the huge bulge in her super-hot biology instructor’s pants? Or could it be connected to weird changes Amber’s body has been undergoing—changes that, overnight, have her straining the seams of her clothes? What exactly happened in that room last night…

And with who?

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on February 16, 2021

Whatever happened the night before, Amber really hasn’t a clue. But something is happening, things are changing and whatever it is, she knows she’ll never be who she was. But perhaps it’s a gift and not a curse. Whichever it is, Amber doesn’t have a choice now.

The work overall is a story of Amber’s gradual transformation into being a Succubus which takes most of the story to happen. As such, there’s much told of her physical changes which once finished turns to the mental changes she passes through. It’s a very sharp difference from her human from, being more elemental than sexual.

The two succubi of the story, Amber and Georgina, are very similar in their succubus forms and personalities when they are both fully transformed. When everything is finished, they are more bestial in form than really sexual. Perhaps it’s more apt to call them demonic in appearance than sensual as one might expect otherwise.

The work could use another editing pass to clean up some of the storytelling, there are points where it reads like a wrong word was used here and there. It might also be a thought to expand on what little Georgina explains to Amber about their kind and what they are. There is I think a lot of world building that needs to be told beyond the character transformations which is hinted at.

Three out of five pitchforks.

Amber’s transformation is the focus of the work and as such there’s really very little in the way of actual succubus themes beyond that. Still, this is an interesting take overall. It’s just not quite a succubus story, but perhaps whenever the next work in the series appears that will be more present.
