Plot Summary
Nicholas Faraday is a wizard. Well, actually he’s a scientist that was pulled from Earth and is now trying to carve out a life for himself in the foreign world of Donau. Pulled from the modern day into a pseudo-medieval culture can be jarring, but with his advanced knowledge and a strange ability to alter the physics of the planet, Nick was able to rescue a small village from a murderous headless horseman.
Now, the emperor has requested his presence in the capital city, an invite that Nick is clearly not allowed to decline. Together with the group of women he has met in his time here - the beautiful redheaded farm-girl Ruby-Sue, a warrior nun named Ariel, and a incredibly charismatic succubus named Jezebel - Nick will venture into an unfamiliar city filled with political maneuvering, power struggles, and hobnobbing. The young man will find it challenging to find a use for his vast knowledge of biology and engineering in this fish-out-of-water adventure that will keep readers guessing to the final page.
