Plot Summary

Nicholas Faraday is a scientist, not a sinner, but that hasn't stopped him from being banished to literal hell. While trying to escape one catastrophe (that was kinda his fault), Nick stumbles through a portal he thinks will take him to safety, but instead transports him and his party to the fire and brimstone of Tartarus.

Seemingly betrayed by his longtime succubus lover, Nick must navigate the complicated politics of demons and devils in order to find some way to get back . . . all without the magik he's come to rely on. Join Nick on his tour of the underworld filled with deadly beasts, deadlier demons, deals, dalliances and deception. Can Nick's knowledge of chemistry, biology, and science save him from the eternal fire, or will his sins finally catch up with him in the end?
