Plot Summary
I was supposed to lay low, keep my head down, and go about my life without drawing any attention to myself. I had enemies out there, and the longer I remained hidden, the safer my family and I would be.
I wasn’t supposed to be messing around with vampires, demons, and summoning magic, but that was precisely what I found myself doing. And it was all due to the pretty smile of a cute girl.
Nicole was a mage like me. I could see that she was starting to mess with things she shouldn’t, and there was no way I would let her do that without understanding all the consequences of it. I didn’t expect it that would lead me into conflict with the local vampire clan or that it would force me into summoning a demon once more. Yet, that was precisely what ended up happening.
