Plot Summary

The town of Castle Hollow never sleeps.

Lies dwell.

Demons play.

Powerful magic, unknown to man, thickens in the breeze.

It was my home. A place where I did business and danced with my demons. People once knew me as Countess Bathory, but they don’t know the secrets that linger here.

When the wind kissed you, it whispered a chill against your skin that bespoke of death.

The shadows taunt you, becoming demons worse than the demented, playing with your soul, turning it black.

I shouldn’t have tempted the devilishly handsome detective or allowed him close enough to bathe in my darkest sin as I danced within the surrounding wickedness.

Truth is, I worshiped the darkness, and as long as it continues to suit my needs, I won’t question why. I’ll embrace my insanity, allowing it to tease me with the feather-like-caress of dark magic.

And soon enough, my deviant detective will be on his knees worshiping me.
