Plot Summary
Alana, a succubus, has managed to survive her first encounter with hunter Gabriel. In spite of the fact that they are supposed to hate each other, he goes out of his way to see her again. Is he testing her or is he falling in love with her? Alana has bigger problems than Gabriel though. When the demon Magnus insists that she gets more info on the hunters and starts asking questions about her lineage, Alana realizes that the stakes are higher than she thought. When a shocking murder happens to someone close to Alana, she isn’t sure who she can trust. But with the walls closing in around her, she’ll have to use all the power and connections at her disposal to survive.
