A short summary for the works in this collection are:
Damned Desires – Olivia will be wed soon. but her rebellious nature drives her to seek out an incubus to discover what delights she has never had.
The Summoning – A virgin summons an incubus for a night of passion she wishes would never end.
The Pure – A virgin gives herself to save others at a cost.
Secret Desires – A young couple visit an adult store where a succubus will teach them of their desire.
The collection is well written, the characters have depth, personality, desires and needs which each story uses to twist itself around them and lead to the passions for some and darker things for others. The heat is very good, the storytelling is as well. Each story is self contained and at the close of each one is left wondering about the fates told in each.
OF all of the works, the only one that I did not enjoy was The Pure, it simply didn’t do a thing for me, mainly in the tone, what happened to the main character at the end was something expected, but so dearly sad and depressing.
The balance of the collection held delightful incubi and the last the singular succubus of the work. All are very dominant in their personalities, Lilith especially so. I did rather enjoy her being in control of an adult store and what happens when tw customers arrive. Just a lot of BDSM delights to be found in all of these characters, which I enjoyed.
Three and a half out of five pitchforks.
With the exception of the one story I’ve noted, the collection is a delightfully erotic series of works which I did rather enjoy. They are however very much teases of what could be larger stories about these characters and really that is something to wonder about. Quite a telling read and very much recommended.
