Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on March 8, 2019
If there is one thing in the universe that is a very bad thing, it is a frustrated succubus. Sabina Dympna is frustrated beyond words, the last lover was useless, the world around her gives her nothing to desire. Except, that is, the two souls she finds bathing in a review and resisting their mutual attraction. What is a succubus like her to do? Obviously she must help these two souls, and if that happens to involve them both coming to be with her forever, that’s not the worst of fates is it?
The work is a short erotic hot flash which circles around two friends on the edge of being lovers, teased mercilessly by the succubus of the story. As she does so, and it’s just an amazing thing to watch unfold, the characters reveal their truths to each other, their love revealed and the succubus herself becomes enamoured with the two. It just a really fun and passionate story with a slow burn that just works perfectly for all of the characters.
Sabina, the succubus of the story, is very much a succubus, wings, horns and tail and all. Along with that comes a personality that feels so easily brought to anger with some and absolutely swooning when she finds souls that are attractive to her. Very, so very much a tease, her personality is such a bright and wonderful thing and it was captivating.
Four out of five pitchforks.
Such delightful fun, passions, love and devotion which just brought me to adore everything about this work. The story ends in a place that feels right, but also left an opening for future stories to be told and it is a shame that didn’t happen. Possibly one of the best works of succubus teasing I have read in a very long time and well with the read by far.
