Plot Summary
Succubus. The word brings up images of demons with large breasts and horns, ready to devour human men after taking their innocence.
The truth is much more fun. While minions of the dark lord, we do no harm to humans directly. After maturing and gaining the ability to bring about the deepest lust and desires and feeding off this energy, fueling the underworld, we go out each night into unsuspecting humans’ bedrooms and show that we can get what they want. All succubi and incubi are dominant, always taking charge and showing humans how superior we are.
I, on the other hand, seem to be the underworld’s first and only submissive succubus. My awakening must be close at hand, and while I hope for the dominance that others receive, my desire for my brood-sister during her awakening threatens to overrule my restraint. When she turns more dominant than any other I’ve seen, and has a surprise underneath her dress, can I resist or will I throw myself at her feet and beg her to own me, to help me navigate the rest of eternity as an outsider in our world?
Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on March 20, 2020
The change comes to all succubi and incubi, and for two succubi it comes with an unexpected price. One must dominate, but the only wishes to submit. They are a matched pair and in being so, almost anything can happen.
The work is a short hot erotic flash with the main characters being succubi and their story being wrapped around futa, domination and submission themes. Both characters are interesting, really all of the characters are. But what is so much more so is the setting and the mythos constructed to explain how things are. It’s just a fascinating idea, and it’s developed in the story as best as it can be with how short the work is.
The main character, who is never named, and her mate, Kiera, are perfect for each other. The mutual attraction from the first page is very clear and as their transformations come to pass, the symmetry between them just feels very well done. They are succubi, but not in an evil way, they are more temptation with the goal of sex and pleasure and I liked that quite a lot.
Three out of five pitchforks.
More than anything else, the mythos constructed around the succubi and incubi I thought was really intriguing. As much as that was, I wish more time had been spent there, to explore the world further and perhaps branch off into other plots and ideas to explore. It’s interesting, but I think it could have been a lot more than it was.
