Plot Summary

ew York City, a long-standing sanctuary for undocumented immigrants, finds itself teetering on the brink. Overwhelmed by a recent influx, the city's resources are stretched thin, fueling simmering resentment. Republican Mayor Abigail St. Clair, a staunch ally of the Republican President, champions a controversial plan for mass deportation, igniting a firestorm of protest and division.

To bolster support for her agenda, Mayor St. Clair establishes the Uptown Redevelopment Project, a gathering of New York's elite and everyday citizens alike, all united by a desire to cleanse the city of its undocumented population. However, a chilling series of bizarre deaths throws the city into chaos. Key members of the Uptown Redevelopment Project are found lifeless; their bodies are drained of energy and their hearts are missing.

Enter Ravena Diabla Castillo, a beautiful and enigmatic Dominican immigrant. Unbeknownst to the city, Ravena is more than she seems. She is a succubus, a she-devil tasked with protecting her community. Using her seductive powers, Ravena targets members of the Uptown Redevelopment Project, luring them into her web before devouring their hearts and souls, hoping to cripple the deportation efforts.

Tasked with uncovering the truth behind these gruesome murders are seasoned detectives Errol Bullet, a hardened veteran with a cynical worldview, and Stephanie Edwards, a sharp and empathetic investigator struggling to reconcile her personal beliefs with the demands of her job. As they delve deeper into the investigation, Bullet and Edwards find themselves navigating a dangerous labyrinth of political intrigue, supernatural horror, and moral ambiguity.

Caught between a city on the verge of implosion, a mayor driven by political ambition, and a demonic force fighting for survival, the detectives must race against time to capture Ravena before she claims more victims. But can they stop her before she succeeds in dismantling the deportation plan, and at what cost?
