Plot Summary
The territory of a succubus or an incubus is a fiercely guarded thing, so when young demoness Hellia senses her old rival nearby, she will stop at nothing to get rid of him. She challenges the upstart incubus to a dangerous, but sensual, contest. The loser not only gets the territory but bragging rights as well which might be even better.
The first to succumb to pleasure loses all... but is it really losing?
Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on October 9, 2018
Hellia guards her territory jealously and when Balzun takes interest in what is hers, there will be conflict. They have a past, both sensual and troubling, and their battle may reveal the truth neither will admit to.
The work is a short hot flash centred around a succubus and an incubus with a past. That past pulls on them both, eventually turning into something of a sexual battle of wills and powers. The climax of that battle is a bit tepid with all that came before, but overall the story and the characters are delightfully explored.
Hellia, the succubus of the story, is very much a creature of seduction and desire which balances well against Balzun, the incubus of the story being rather sure of himself and perhaps a bit too much so. Their powers of mind control, sexual catalysts and most of all, the means through which their hungers are explored are done quite well.
Three out of five pitchforks.
It is a shame the story is so short, that the past encounters between Hellia and Balzun are really explored as much as they really needed to be. The work ends in a place that was a bit expected, but also leaves an interesting possibility to explore that really should have been as well.
